Welcome to LeafPad. By accessing or using LeafPad and its services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Definitions

• LeafPad refers to the LeafPad platform, website, and services.
• User refers to any individual or entity using LeafPad.
• Content refers to articles, images, metadata, and related assets generated or published through LeafPad.
• Partner Network refers to LeafPad's contextual backlink discovery and editorial linking program.

2. Service Overview

LeafPad provides an automated content system that may include:

• Topic planning and content generation
• Automated publishing to supported platforms
• AI-generated images
• SEO structure and scoring
• Contextual backlink discovery through the Partner Network

LeafPad does not guarantee rankings, traffic, backlinks, or revenue outcomes.

3. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the accuracy of your account information
• All activity performed under your account
• Ensuring you have the rights to publish content on connected websites

LeafPad is not responsible for unauthorized access caused by user negligence.

4. Content Ownership and Usage

4.1 Ownership

You retain ownership of content generated and published through your LeafPad account.

4.2 License

By using LeafPad, you grant LeafPad a limited license to:

• Analyze your published content for contextual matching
• Display your site name and metrics within the Partner Network
• Suggest your content for editorial linking opportunities

LeafPad does not resell or redistribute your content.

4.3 Content Retention Upon Cancellation

If you cancel or discontinue your LeafPad subscription:

• You retain full ownership of all content published to your website during your subscription period
• Content already published to your site remains yours and is not removed by LeafPad
• You may continue to use, modify, or delete this content at your discretion
• LeafPad does not retain copies of your published content after account termination

5. Partner Network and Backlink Program

The Partner Network is an editorial discovery system, not a link exchange scheme.

5.1 Eligibility

To be eligible for the Partner Network, a site must:

• Publish at least five articles through LeafPad
• Maintain an active publishing cadence
• Pass manual quality review

Eligibility does not guarantee backlinks.

5.2 How Links Are Added

• Links are suggested only when contextually relevant
• Links are not reciprocal by default
• All suggested links are subject to manual review
• LeafPad may reject or remove links at its discretion

5.3 No Guarantees

LeafPad does not guarantee:

• A specific number of backlinks
• Reciprocal links
• Placement on specific partner sites
• Increases in Domain Rating or traffic

5.4 Backlink Validity Upon Cancellation

Backlinks obtained through the Partner Network are conditional on active subscription status:

• Backlinks pointing to your site from partner sites remain valid only while your subscription is active
• Upon cancellation or termination, LeafPad reserves the right to request removal of backlinks pointing to your site from partner content
• Partner sites may remove such backlinks after a grace period of 45 days following subscription end
• This policy ensures fair participation in the network and protects active members

6. Prohibited Use

You may not use LeafPad to:

• Create or participate in link schemes
• Publish spam, scraped, or misleading content
• Manipulate search engine rankings through artificial means
• Circumvent manual review processes
• Misrepresent ownership or authority of content

Violation may result in suspension or termination.

7. Manual Review and Enforcement

LeafPad reserves the right to:

• Review content and backlink suggestions
• Remove sites from the Partner Network
• Disable Partner Network access
• Suspend or terminate accounts for violations

Decisions are final and made to protect network quality.

8. Third-Party Integrations

LeafPad integrates with third-party platforms such as CMS providers and analytics tools.

LeafPad is not responsible for:

• Downtime or changes in third-party services
• Publishing failures caused by external platforms
• Data loss due to third-party actions

9. Payments and Pricing

Pricing, plans, and limits are described on the LeafPad website.

LeafPad reserves the right to:

• Change pricing with notice
• Introduce new paid features
• Modify plan limits

Fees are non-refundable unless stated otherwise.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• LeafPad is provided "as is"
• LeafPad is not liable for indirect or consequential damages
• LeafPad is not responsible for SEO outcomes, penalties, or ranking changes

Use of the service is at your own risk.

11. Termination

You may stop using LeafPad at any time.

LeafPad may suspend or terminate access if:

• Terms are violated
• Abuse or manipulation is detected
• Continued use threatens platform integrity

12. Changes to Terms

LeafPad may update these Terms from time to time.

Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Data Handling and Privacy

13.1 Data We Collect

LeafPad collects and processes site data including website URLs, CMS credentials, analytics data, and content performance metrics solely to provide and improve the service.

13.2 Data Upon Cancellation

Upon account termination:

• Your account data will be deleted within 30 days of cancellation
• Published content on your website remains unaffected
• LeafPad will remove your site from the Partner Network
• Any stored analytics or performance data will be purged

13.3 Data Portability

You may request an export of your content calendar and metadata at any time during your active subscription.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
